here's the dealio.
i stumbled across a lexus sc400 auto with 200k. its got the bulletproof 1uz(v8) engine, which is good for 250hp and 260ft/lbs, and they are completely unbreakable from what ive read. most can sustain their factory power well into the 300k range...
the problem is: it needs a new diff. looks like it would be 300ish for a replacement...
this dude is actually somewhat interested in the celica(omg i cant believe it!)
yes i would be getting 20mpg, but yes i would be driving around with a massive hardon in the meantime... so...trade or no? i'd have to pull off some amazing shit to do this without a daily for a little while but ive been through worse =]
give me those thoughts!!!

You're joking, right? If you have to ask if it's worth it, then no, it's probly not. You want to get the supra running, and that'll slow you down more. Not to mention, it's just another toyota, which are pieces of shit, right?
If it were me, and I had the money to fix it, I'd do it without giving it a second thought.

I'm on the side against it... mostly because of the poopra. You need the money to fund the poopra instead of losing a daily driver. It's a really nice deal, otherwise.
