K, be boring, paste up your favorite car, and go away.

For the rest of you, do yourself a favor and write out what you could build if you had unlimited resources- money, technology, profession psychiatric care, whatever.

That means engine configuration placement, etc. Like AWD? Make it happen. Want 20' rims? Whatever. Just post up what you would make if you could. Doesn't matter if anyone would want it.

This ends up being kinda fun. Zach, D, and myself talked about this one time and surprised each other with some of the ideas. If you get flamed, suck it up, and use what you can of it as constructive criticism. Maybe someones ideas will point out a flaw that you missed, and maybe your ideas will change some.

I'd go first, but I'll have some figuring to do. I'll do that when I get out of work. Very Happy

OK here's the plan of action for this scenario:

i know this is a surprise, but the car to start with will be the MA70. it will be a pre-89 turbo sport package in FUCKING MINT condish, with the stock midnight blue exterior and leather blue interior.

mk..

EXTERIOR
first up is the 2-hole front lip spoiler modeled after the JZA70
Your Ideal Car Front_Lip_Spoilers_JZA70_LRG[img][/img]

next would be the bomex rears, they are an extension of the rear bumper that wraps around the ends and extends lower to the ground. here's a set on a red mkiii:
Your Ideal Car Exterior

carbon fiber hood OEM style. i cant find a good pic of one on my color blue, but if i do i'll post it.

bomex side skirts

the bottom half of the car will essentially look like this:
Your Ideal Car Mk3side

wheels: gram light 57s
Your Ideal Car Rays_GramLights57s

SUSPENSION
all new new tie rod ends, control arms, energy poly bushings, koni ways, and these:

JIC FLT-FAS coilovers
Your Ideal Car P-5-1

powerslot rotors/metallic brake pads
Your Ideal Car Pwrsltrotorslrg

ss brake hoses

INTERIOR
fucking stock everything! except for the necessary gauges, in which case they will be mounted tastefully.

now for the good part....

ENGINE

ok from the inside out starting with machine work:

89+ block powdercoated black
.060 overbore

deck machined to 30ra
-necessary for metal head gaskets, its a mirror finish Cool

lightened 7m crank
-the 7m crank is much smoother than the 6m crank, but the 6m is lighter because it has 2 fewer counter weights. lightening and balancing will give the best of both worlds

clevite 77 rod/main bearings

3angle valve job
port/polish

all new oil seals,
freeze plugs,
oil shaft bearings,
new shimmed AISIN oil pump,
upgraded oil hose to -8an stainless steel for better flow
new piston squirters
ross pistons
pauter rods
all ARP hardware

3ml metal headgasket, the thickest produced.
ARP headstuds

brian crower 272 cams
HKS adj cam gears
ferrea valves
black powdercoated valve covers.
coilpack delete - replaced with the lexus ignition system.

INTAKE/EXHAUST/TURBO

custom front facing intake manifold with q45 throttle body

Your Ideal Car PHTO0116

3" hardpipes
spearco intercooler
AFM delete

GT4088R turbo
Your Ideal Car Bturbo

4" exhaust
wastegate dumped

COOLING
koyo 3-row radiator
2.5" hardpipes

DRIVETRAIN

r154 tranny with upgraded thrust washers

fidanza 11lbs flywheel
Your Ideal Car Fidanza_flywheel

1 piece steel driveshaft
Your Ideal Car Steel-Show-Shaft175

stage 3 triple plate clutch
Your Ideal Car Twin-parts-angle

stock 3.90 supra LSD

ENGINE MANAGEMENT

AEM standalone
Your Ideal Car Aem

MAFT-pro (Mass Air Flow Translator)

AEM o2 wideband

880cc precision fuel injectors

dual mkiv fuel pumps

aeromotive afpr

end result:

one badass street/track car with 5-600hp/ftlbs at 16psi, and at the push of a button 1100whp/ftlbs at 27psi

road course/drag/street/you fucking name it.

chances are i will think of something to add later

Seems like it'd be a nice truck if you ever get it done. Smile You should start a progress thread on it or link to one if you have it over at the other forums... be another nice one to keep up with.

My realistic dream car at the moment is mine. I want to put the Greddy Turbo Kit on her (Yeah I know... She won't be NA for too much longer... Maybe a year or so) and put on skunk2 proS coilovers.
The reason I want to put a turbo on her is because I learned that K series engines are MUCH stronger than other Honda engines. The block is reliable to 500whp, but the rods get weak around 380 to 400whp.
275whp is my goal.
