RDMS members,

Consider this our first newsletter/RDMS update!

Forum Sections:
We've been looking at the forum recently and I've been noticing that it's hard to choose where to place certain threads. Should we merge, split, add, remove, etc sections of the forum? We'd love your input. Also, if you think there should be a section for something (auto or non-auto related), suggest it! We're here to make you guys happy with a well-rounded center for information.

Aesthetic Appeal:
As it stands, our forum is red, black and gray. We've been considering different color schemes. What colors do YOU think represent us accurately? Should we switch to monochromatic, pastel shades, complementary, or something with a little more spunk to it? If you can find a color scheme that would fit us well, we'd love to hear about it.

RDMS logo competition:
Our banner currently has our name on it, but it's not unique to us. We need a logo that we can slap onto future advertisements, shirts, vinyls/stickers, and other miscellaneous merchandise we may make available one day. We want everyone to see our logo and say "That's RDMS!"
The requirements are as follows:
  • Include a picture of a tachometer, preferrably one that is reaching/has reached redline.
  • Include 'Redline Division Motorsports' text.
  • Make the logo transparent around the edges and between letters, so we may use it on a shirt or vinyl.

Misc. Info:
If you are a new member, don't forget to introduce yourself in the New Member section (located here). We would appreciate it if you posted an intro thread BEFORE posting anywhere else on the forum. We will allow you to post up to 10 times before asking you to post an introduction.

Thank yous:
The RDMS admin would like to thank you for your loyalty to the board. We have grown a bit since we first opened in late June/ early July. For those of you that have been with us from the start, we appreciate your threads and input. We are a tight-knit community and we'd like to keep it very friendly and family-like. If for some reason there is a problem with another user, please notify the admin if you cannot resolve the issues through PMs. We will NOT tolerate hostility toward any of our users. Don't make us whip out our banstik.
Banstik!

If we don't post another announcement or newsletter before 2009 starts, we'd like to wish you a very happy and filling Thanksgiving as well as a very merry Christmas rendeer . Oh, and let us not forget... if you don't celebrate any religious holidays, celebrate the next two-three months just because! End your year with a bang! And don't forget to use your lifeline and call a friend. Drinking and driving is not acceptable . Whip

Woo! I can post now.

Don't merge forums yet- no reason too. Those different topic areas will stand out later if they need to be merged, cause nothing will be in them.

Also, colors- pink and possibly baby blue.

Yeah, baby blue and pink would be awesome.
The dark colours are cool and all, but they don't make me feel at home.
Other than that I'm fairly happy with the way the fourm is set up.
Even though I'm never really on... =/
(I'll change it to my homepage. NWAi is dead)

Actually, kill the exhaust setups. We don't need that section. :P

What about merging the NA, FI, Exhaust and Engine Tuning sections together? Have one NA/All Motor Section and one Forced Induction Section and/or a General Motor Tech section.

It'll save some space.
